Location Hogarths Solihull. A great location for wedding photography in Dorridge.

Hogarths Solihull is one of the best none exclusive wedding venues in the West Midlands. Easily accessible from the M42 Hogarths sits on the outskirts of Solihull in Dorridge in some stunning countryside. The venue is contemporary with some stunning period and classical features both inside the venue and in the venues grounds.

As a large hotel Hogarths is a location that can accommodate both bridal and groom prep in the same location, which means both can be covered by the hogarths wedding photographer without the need for a second shooter. On this occasion the bridal preparation was taking place on site at Hogarths with the groom arriving pre ceremony.

The wedding of Nadine & Ben took place in December so a winter wedding where light was at a premium in the depths of winter. Summer weddings at Hogarths can take place outdoors taking advantage of ‘The Island’ which is cosily nestles in the surrounding woodland.

A December wedding meant we were definitely in doors for today wedding! A mid day wedding ceremony meant we had just enough time after the wedding breakfast to take advantage of the daylight and the ample grounds that surround Hogarths. For the Hotarths wedding photographer the stunning period features include a bride over a lake (as photographed in the gallery) and ample opportunities in the well kept grounds with the magnificent venue buildings available as a backdrop. Ample space allows for large wedding group photos to take place with ease even in winter with wedding guests not needing to stray to far from the main venue building.

With darkness falling early in November the sit down meal and speeches took place indoors in the Garden Suite with the cake cut and first dance taking place shortly after.
