Pendrell Hall is an exclusive use wedding venue set in substantial grounds with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside in Staffordshire. The main building is a splendid Victorian country house with plenty of character for the Pendrell Hall wedding photographer.
The lovingly refurbished Victorian country house is complimented by contemporary overnight accommodation on the same grounds. Sat in six acres of private ground the wedding venue can host both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies depending on weather and the time of year.
The wedding of Katrina & Adam took place in the absolute depths of winter 2021.. New Years eve on December 31st to be precise! So an indoor wedding service was the order of the day.
With separate rooms for both bridal prep and groom prep at Pendrell Hall I was able to capture both bridal and groom prep on the morning, the bridal suite at Pendrell Hall makes for a magnificent backdrop for prep photos with its high ceilings large open space with a huge bay window and roll top bath.
With limited daylight a mid day wedding service meant we had plenty of time to assemble the wedding guests into the grounds for group photos before heading off into the grounds with Katrina & Adam for some winning wedding couple photos. The large space, secret garden and swing all provide for some great wedding photo opportunities many with the imposing country house at Pendrell Hall providing the backdrop.
As darkness fell mid afternoon the sit down meal in Pendrell Halls Ballroom. Again another big space with high ceilings and bay windows all combine to make for some great conditions for the Pendrell Hall wedding photographer when covering speeches and the cake cut!
As is usual at Pendrell Hall once speeches and meal are complete the Ball Room is quickly turned around into the event space for the couples first dance, with DJ set up and dance floor in place, the ball room then provides the stunning setting for the bride and grooms first dance.
